Post-Doctoral Position in Brain Imaging at Montreal Neurological Institute

A two-year (extensible) post-doctoral fellowship is available at the Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University, to work under the supervision of Alain Dagher and Bratislav Misic, and in collaboration with the labs of Louis Collins and Alan Evans. The project funded by various sources involves studying the patterns of disease spread in neurodegenerative diseases including Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Diseases, and Frontotemporal Degeneration, using mostly MRI and clinical data. We work closely with colleagues in animal imaging, cell biology and genetics of neurodegenerative disease. Methods used will include neuroimaging processing, statistics, graph theory, and clinical aspects of neurological disorders.

The fellowship will be held at the McConnell Brain Imaging Centre, a leading research facility specializing in multi-modal human brain imaging, including MRI, PET, MEG, TMS and EEG. The BIC is host to approximately 150 staff members and students who specialize in human brain imaging and neuroscience.

The McConnell Brain Imaging Centre is located at the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI) and Hospital, on the downtown campus of McGill University, in the heart of Montreal. The MNI is a world leader in neuroimaging, neuroscience, and the study of neurological disease.

Individuals with expertise in analysis of MR images and some familiarity with software such as Matlab, FSL or SPM, C++, R, or Python are invited to apply.
