The program offers funding to support pilot projects related to planned multi-center and multidisciplinary bio-imaging projects in humans and/or animals.
Priority will be given to young researchers who do not have research funds (to cover the cost of acquisition and image analysis), allowing them to collect preliminary data in preparation for grant applications to provincial, federal and international agencies. Second priority will be given to senior researchers who do not have financial resources dedicated to the use of bio-imaging techniques and who are committed to applying for funding to provincial, federal and international agencies. The pilot project must lead to submission of a grant application to official agencies.
