The QBIN blog was founded in 2020 by a group of student and postdoc members of QBIN who believe that science should be open and accessible to everyone. Since then, our blog contributors have written many engaging pieces on various topics related to bio-imaging research and/or life as a research trainee, and the blog now receives over 12,000 unique visitors per year!

We are currently looking for new contributors to create content for the blog in French and English – from written pieces to videos, infographics, or podcasts. Writing for the public is a great way to improve your science communication skills by thinking about science from a different perspective, and as a bonus you can add it to your CV!

If you would like to join our team, please get in touch with QBIN’s Communications Officer and blog editor, Estrid Jakobsen (estrid.jakobsen@mcgill.ca).
