These programs are open to QBIN members and provide scholarships to Masters and PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.
Recruitment scholarships for students
We are pleased to provide recruitment scholarships to Master’s and PhD students ($6000 and $8000 respectively) in the field of bio-imaging. Applications will be evaluated based on the quality of the proposed project, training environment, and academic record.
Eligibility criteria:
MSc students:
- Be a QBIN member
- The student’s supervisor is a QBIN regular or emerging member
- Must be enrolled in a full-time research program in a Quebec university and whose research project must be directly related to bio-imaging
- Master’s students must be enrolled in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd term of a research program as of June 30th, 2021.
- Students in a psychology program must be enrolled in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd term of a research program as of June 30th, 2021. Please check the following link (gouv.qc.ca) to verify the eligibility of your program.
PhD students:
- Be a QBIN member
- The student’s supervisor is a QBIN regular or emerging member

Support scholarships for postdocs
We are pleased to provide support scholarships ($8000) to postdoctoral researchers who do not hold a nominal fellowship. These scholarships are intended to help boost the CV of postdoctoral researchers in order to increase their chances of obtaining larger grants and fellowships in the future. To apply, the applicant must be a QBIN student member and their supervisor must be a QBIN regular or emerging member. Applications will be evaluated based on the quality of the proposed project, training environment, and academic record of the applicant.
