Recruitment scholarships for students

We are pleased to provide recruitment scholarships to Master’s and PhD students ($6000 and $8000 respectively) in the field of bio-imaging. Applications will be evaluated based on the quality of the proposed project, training environment, and academic record.
Eligibility criteria for Master’s applicants:
- The applicant must be a QBIN member
- The applicant’s supervisor must be a QBIN regular or emerging member
- The project must be directly related to bio-imaging
- The applicant must be enrolled in a full-time research program in a Quebec university
- Master’s degree awards are intended for applicants who have enrolled in a research program. For this competition, students who started their program in Summer 2021 or later are admissible, and students who are registered to start their program in Fall 2022 are admissible.
- Doctoral students in psychology are also eligible for this award if they are enrolled in terms 1, 2 or 3 of their program as of June 30th, 2022, or if they intend to start their program in Fall 2022.

- The project must be directly related to bio-imaging
- The applicant must be enrolled in a full-time research program in a Quebec university
- Doctoral awards are intended for applicants who have enrolled in a research program. For this competition, students who started their program in Summer 2021 or later are admissible, and students who are registered to start their program in Fall 2022 are admissible.
- Doctoral students in psychology must be enrolled in term 4, 5 or 6 of their research program as of June 30th, 2022.

Support scholarships for postdocs
Deadline: June 3rd, 2022
We are pleased to provide support scholarships ($8000) to postdoctoral researchers who do not hold a nominal fellowship. These scholarships are intended to help boost the CV of postdoctoral researchers in order to increase their chances of obtaining larger grants and fellowships in the future. Applications will be evaluated based on the quality of the proposed project, training environment, and academic record of the applicant.
Eligibility criteria for Postdoc applicants:
- The applicant must be a QBIN member
- The applicant’s supervisor must be a QBIN regular or emerging member
- The project must be directly related to bio-imaging
- The applicant must not hold a nominal fellowship
