QBIN member Brigitte Guérin’s expertise used to develop targeted treatments for metastatic cancers

Radiation therapy has been used for decades as one of the treatments available to people with cancer. While effective, this treatment is not optimally suited for hard-to-treat cancers such as metastatic cancer. However, the creation of a new generation of injectable radiotherapy treatments could become a reality, thanks to the research to be conducted by a pan-Canadian interdisciplinary group of which Professor Brigitte Guérin is a member.
