Increased access and efficacy of imaging tests to detect prostate cancer

Over the past year, more than 600 men have benefited from a new imaging test that can quickly detect prostate cancer with unprecedented accuracy, thanks to the radiotracer68Ga-PSMA-617 produced by the Centre d’imagerie moléculaire de Sherbrooke (CIMS) of the Centre de recherche du CHUS (CRCHUS). This important research has involved several QBIN members at the Université de Sherbrooke, including Brigitte Guérin and Éric Turcotte.
